The other type of insulation is full foam insulation which consists of filling the area between the shell and cabinet sub floor completely with a thick layer of solid, rigid foam. Over 70% of spas made today use this method of insulation. Each of these factors will help determine the cost to operate your spa and will influence the effectiveness of the type of insulation that you choose. Just remember that once you have your spa, it is impossible to change its method of insulation.
